*Dear readers – the below simply must be read in your best posh English accent* Ladies and gentlemen were cordially invited to a rather opulent affair at the National Gallery of Victoria on Wednesday night.
The Bridgerton-esque Victorian Chamber President’s dinner was the epitome of sophistication, style and live music… Beck sure gave Lady Whistledown something to write about!
As distinguished guests made their grand entrance into the regal Great Hall, famous for its stunning stained-glass ceiling, they were serenaded by solo violinist Samantha Abela.
As you know, Beck always goes to great lengths and heights to make an impression, and this event was no exception. Samantha was hoisted up on a podium, draped in a show-stopping royal red gown designed by Bree Kent and costume designer Tamara Claire, bringing Beck's vision to life.
When the seated soiree wrapped, the night heated up as a phenomenal string trio took centre stage. Lily Thornton was joined by Violinists Suzanna Calvert and Isabel Hede, to create “the three classicteers” AKA “Beck’s Angels”.
The Bridgerton soundtrack filled the air, the ladies playing classical covers of modern pop songs. The cherry on top.. the dome of the NGV, which provided the perfect acoustics - it was literally music to the guest’s ears.
Sweet sounds complimented by lavish fashion created the perfect ambiance. A vision in white, the ladies were dressed in floor length gowns by KYAH Studios.
So, remember, if you want an event that’ll have the whole town talking, book with Beck!
Till next time, keep it classy Melbourne!
Beck xx
