Deon’s mastery of both the harp and piano has graced countless occasions, making her a sought-after artist for weddings, events and performances. 

Deon’s love of music started at the age of 6, when she first started piano lessons. Her versatile playing covers a variety of musical genres including pop, classical and celtic. Deon's gift lies in her interpretation of songs. With her transformative touch, she takes melodies and weaves them into something enchanting. 

Deon’s dual expertise in music performance and music education exemplifies her commitment to her craft. In addition to a Bachelor of Music Performance in both harp and piano from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Master of Teaching from the University of Melbourne. 

Deon performs on a 2008 Lyon and Healy Style 85 Concert Grand and Lyon and Healy Odgen, made in Chicago. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, hiking and indulging in her love of baking.
