RALEIGH WILLIAMS

Showcasing a magnificent voice that draws on a background of singing and composing in a diverse range of styles, Raleigh Williams is fast becoming one of Melbourne’s most respected vocalists.


Years of experience performing both in Australia and internationally (Italy, Turkey, France, Indonesia, New Zealand), as well as studying with some of the world’s finest vocal coaches, has delivered Williams a standing reputation as one of Melbourne’s best session singers, featuring in genres as diverse as world music, urban, country, jazz, pop, and soul.


Currently house vocalist with Australia’s hardest hitting Hammond trio, Aria-award winning Cookin’ on Three Burners, Raleigh was featured across different festival and concert platforms over the summer of 2019-2020 including interstate and New Zealand appearances. Raleigh also feature as a backing vocalist in exciting new Australian rock-Americana-blues superband ‘FOOLS’.


Her French jazz project, La Nuit Blanche, has performed at major festivals and concerts across Australia since its inception years ago.


She’s graced almost every Melbourne stage at sold-out gigs guesting with beloved local soul outfit Moreland City Soul Revue, the Nathan Liow jazz trio, and toured Australia-wide with global music machine Amanaska, while being an in-demand session singer for local acts. Her annual homages to Amy Winehouse, Dusty Springfield, Nina Simone and Eartha Kitt have become firm favourites to the Melbourne public. Raleigh is a proud member of the powerhouse Women of Soul Collective, led by Chelsea Wilson.
